Tastes just like the Japanese steakhouse’s ginger sauce for dipping meat, vegetables, or eating with fried rice. Just 5 ingredients and done in under 5 minutes!

Japanese Steakhouse Ginger Meat Sauce
Anyone else out there request to have extra of the ginger sauce at the Japanese restaurant and tell the chef they can skip giving you the seafood mustard sauce?

I know I’m not alone in this. My mother does it too and when others at the table hear us request this, they ask the same thing!

We dip everything into it – the shrimp, chicken, steak, vegetables, fried rice, you name it.

Naturally, with the higher cost of eating at a Japanese steakhouse, we were looking to make the ginger sauce at home and we’ve tried many, many different versions. This is the closest we’ve come to the ginger sauce our local Japanese steakhouse’s serve.

What you will need:

  • Food processor or blender
  • Ginger, minced
  • Diced yellow onion
  • White Vinegar
  • Lemon Juice
  • Soy Sauce

You won’t be disappointed!
