Air fryer wings are already super delicious and a tad healthier than deep-frying, but how about trying a Hooter’s copycat wing recipe?

The coating gives them a nice crunch and the sauce adds a little kick of heat.

Ingredients for Hooter’s Copycat Wings:

  • Thawed Wings (Tips Removed) or Wingettes/Drumettes
  • Flour
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Garlic Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt

For Hooter’s Wing Sauce You Will Need:

  • Frank’s Red Hot Sauce -or- Lousiana Hot Sauce
  • Butter

How to Make Hooter’s Air Fryer Wings:

  • Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and toss your wings to coat them.
  • Allow them to chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour to let the coating adhere to the chicken wings. Otherwise, it does come off rather easy when you handle them.
  • Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray and also lightly spray your chicken before cooking it. This allows the chicken to crisp up.

  • While they cook in the air fryer, melt your butter and add your hot sauce to it. You can use either Frank’s Red Hot Sauce or Lousiana’s Hot Sauce. Both are great choices!
  • Once your chicken is done cooking in the air fryer, toss them with your buttery hot sauce mixture. They’re great for dipping in ranch or this homemade blue cheese sauce!
